Jonah Hill Shocks Fans With Dramatic New Look on Movie Set

Jonah Hill is turning heads once again — and this time, it’s for a dramatic new look that has fans doing a double take.

The 41-year-old actor, known for his breakout roles in Superbad and 21 Jump Street, looked almost unrecognizable while filming scenes for his upcoming comedy, Cut Off. Spotted alongside co-star Kristen Wiig on set, Hill showed off a strikingly slimmed-down frame and a bold, ’70s-inspired costume that had cameras flashing.

Hill, who is not only starring in the film but also writing and directing it, sported a tight leopard-print turtleneck tucked into low-rise skinny jeans detailed with long black fringe. A black belt accentuated his noticeably tiny waist, while a shaggy blond wig and thick-rimmed glasses completed his retro transformation. Between takes, Hill was seen reviewing his script and carrying drinks as he moved in and out of his trailer.

Wiig, 52, also embraced the film’s eccentric vibe, donning a teal lace bra layered over a purple lace shirt, red lace leggings, a pink skirt, and a black belt.

Hill’s changing appearance has been the subject of public fascination for years. After first shedding 40 pounds in 2011 with the help of a nutritionist and a Japanese diet, his weight has fluctuated over the past decade. At one point in 2014, he reportedly regained significant weight due to binge eating but soon began slimming down again, eventually revealing a leaner look by 2016.

In a candid 2018 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Hill opened up about his struggles with body image, revealing he had spent much of his youth feeling “fat, gross, and unattractive.” He described his journey toward self-acceptance as an ongoing process, saying he was “still under construction” but learning to embrace himself.
