Enhanced Rear Seat Experience and Luxury Features

While the exterior and overall design of the Celebration Edition remain identical to the standard EQS 580, Mercedes-Benz has placed special emphasis on rear-seat comfort. It comes equipped with a Rear Seat Comfort Package, featuring massage functions, lumbar support, and 38-degree reclining seats—all wrapped in premium Nappa leather upholstery.

The vehicle also includes the Chauffeur Package, allowing the front passenger seat to be electronically adjusted from the rear for added legroom and convenience.

Powerful Performance with Long Range

Under the hood, the EQS 580 Celebration Edition is powered by a 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery paired with dual electric motors, delivering a combined 544 hp and 858 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h.

One of the car’s biggest highlights is its impressive range of over 800 km, making it one of the longest-range EVs currently available in India. Mercedes claims that the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in just 31 minutes using a 200 kW DC fast charger.

High-Tech Features and Advanced Safety

The EQS Celebration Edition is equipped with Mercedes' signature MBUX Hyperscreen, offering an ultra-wide digital interface that spans across the dashboard. It also features rear passenger entertainment screens, adding to the high-tech experience.

In terms of safety and driving assistance, the sedan includes a comprehensive ADAS suite, with features like:

Adaptive Cruise Control

Lane Keep Assist

Driver Attention Monitoring

Automatic Parking Assist

360-Degree Camera

According to Mercedes-Benz, the demand for electric vehicles in India is on the rise. The company reported a 73% increase in Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) sales in the country up to May 2025, reflecting a strong shift towards sustainable luxury mobility.

A Statement of Exclusivity

The EQS 580 Celebration Edition isn't just another electric car—it's a statement of exclusivity and innovation. With limited availability and a host of luxury and performance features, it is targeted at discerning buyers who seek cutting-edge technology, premium comfort, and exclusivity.

Bookings for the vehicle are now open and can be made online or at authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships across India.
